City of La Puente Artwalk, Feb. 18 2012

On Saturday, February 18th, 2012 from 4pm-11pm Old Town La Puente (Along 1st/Main Street) will host Un Poquito Mas Arte the first of a quarterly Art Walk series uniting local artists, educators, businesses, and community members as they proudly showcase artworks at various establishments across Old Town La Puente. The La Puente Branch of the LA County Library will kick off this event with a Poetry Reading and Open Mic at 4pm, along with 3 hosted galleries, a record hop, and participation by other local business. This event is supported and sponsored by the Nuvein Foundation for Literature and the Arts.
I will have artwork at the ARTE CABALTURO ART STUDIO GALLERY along with other artist. See you all there!

ANIMATION SAVES THE WORLD! Sat Jan 21 @ GEEKS COMICS

2012...the end of the world? Hold your 4 horses of the Apocalypse...ANIMATION is here to SAVE THE WORLD! Geeks Comics and Ghettomation present an indie animation show that will make you laugh your end of days away! Come on by for the mixer at 6:30 then the show!! I will have a short animation in this show.

Today I listened to Eminem's Marshall Mathers LP, so what a better subject to draw? I drew this in Illustrator. This is my first attempt at Slim Shady...I like it. The next rapper I add to this collection will be Dr. Dre.

POMONAMATION Saturday at EVE GALLERY!

 If animation is your thing, the EVE Gallery offers up a double dose this month with “Pomonamation” at Saturday's Pomona Second Saturday Artwalk featuring art from a host of animators including a meet and greet at the opening 7 PM and after the reception the whole bevy of beatniks are heading to the Black Box Theatre at the School for Arts and Enterprises 9 PM to see that animation in action! These are my art prints that will be in the show, and in the Animation Screening, I will screen "THE BRIDE IN THE STAGECOACH" based on my comic book series "SPADRA" My comic books will also be available at the Eve Gallery....SEE YOU ALL THERE!
