Simi Valley Chalk Fest

The Simi Valley Chalk Fest took place over the weekend, I was happy to create a chalk square in this event at the Simi Valley Town Center shopping mall. I made a "Fiesta Mermaid". The artwork was amazing and I am so inspired by these talented artists.

This year I decided to make a giant gingerbread man with a cup of hot chocolate.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Aliso Viejo hosted it's Holiday Christmas Chalk Walk a few weeks ago, look at all of the awesome squares! 2016 Pomona Chalk Festival

This year's theme was "My Favorite Book". I chalked Frederick Luis Aldama's Latinx Comic Book Storytelling with the cover art by cartoonist Jaime Hernandez.
