This is the mermaid I made for the Day of the Dead show at the dA's October artwalk in Pomona. The artwalk is on Saturday night, October 9th. I added glitter to it, but the glitter doesn't photograph well. I like it!
Yeah! But mostly you can't see the glitter on her dress, I was trying to make the scales glittery! Like a fish! The white highlights have iridescent glitter and the blue parts have lt. blue and dk. blue glitter (which didn't photograph at all!) I guess glitter needs light to shine! Once I did the dress I added some to the hair & skulls. Thanks!
looks great. did those Mexican Sugar skulls inspire the addition of the glitter? it's a good/smart heads up move.
